How the author programme works

Create an account and apply as an Author. Our editorial team will review your portfolio.
Submit a template
Upload your story text and illustration files via the Author Portal submission form.
Editorial review
Our moderators review your submission for quality, appropriateness, and completeness.
Earn royalties
Once published, earn 15% on every sale. Payouts are made monthly via EFT.
For illustrators
Prefer artwork to prose? Illustrators are credited per template page rather than per template - our editorial team pairs you with an author's manuscript and assigns you the specific pages to illustrate.
Flexible pay structure
Earn a flat fee per illustration, an ongoing royalty share of every sale, or both - agreed with our editorial team when you're paired with a template.
Paired, not solo
You illustrate specific pages of an author's manuscript. No need to write or source a story yourself.
Creative control
